August 2010 Guidance and Counseling Licensure Examination Result

Two working days after the last day of examination, Professional Regulation Commission released the list of successful examinees for the Guidance and Counseling Licensure examination held last August 26 and 27, 2010 in Manila.

Out of 180 examinees, 108 examinees passed the licensure examination, a 60% passing percentage.  Aside from the 108 successful examinees, PRC also released the names of 13 applicants who were approved for registration without examination as Guidance Counselors in accordance with the provisions of R.A. No. 8981, cited as the “PRC Modernization Act of 2004”, Section 14, Article III of Republic Act No. 9258, known as the “Guidance and Counseling Act of 2004”, and Section 14, Rule III of Resolution No. 02, Series of 2007, known as the “Rules and Regulations of the Guidance and Counseling Act of 2004”, and per Board Resolution No. 05 dated September 1, 2010, Series of 2010.  


The successful examinees who garnered the ten highest scores are:

2.   LARAMIE REBULADO TOLENTINO     DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY-MANILA    86.50%

3.   LIBERTY LEDESMA OCHAVO     UNIVERSITY OF SAINT LA SALLE         86.35%

4.   NIKO MARCO GAMBOA GAGOLINAN    DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY-MANILA    86.25%

5.   MARILET CASTILLO DELGADO      MIRIAM COLLEGE (MARYKNOLL COLLEGE FOUNDATION, INC)         86.05%


6.  ADESTY PAWID DULAWAN       CAGAYAN STATE UNIVERSITY-TUGUEGARAO     85.95%

7.  MARIA ROSANNA MONICA VILLAREAL MARABUT      MIRIAM COLLEGE (MARYKNOLL COLLEGE FOUNDATION, INC)            85.90%

8.  TERESITA OCSAN CRUZ       HOLY ANGEL UNIVERSITY     85.70%
